Things We Love: Refreshment Drink Stations

Posted by Jeffra on Jul 16, 2010

If you’re having an outdoor wedding, you definitely need refreshments for your guests directly after the Ceremony.  Especially in the summertime when the temperatures can be as close to 100 degrees during an evening wedding.  This is usually something you have available during the transition between Post-Ceremony and Cocktail Hour.  At a recent wedding, I was handed bottles of water, which was fantastic – because we hadn’t realized how hot it was going to be.  Which brings me to this post: Refreshment Drink Stations.

Drink Bars can be a combination of specialty drinks (alcoholic) and refreshment drinks.  But it always includes something non-alcoholic; something that hydrates.  You’d offer things like water, lemonade, and iced tea – it gives your guests options, and they are refreshing on hot days.  Here are a few ideas to spark your creativity!
