Alexandria and Steve were married at Tiber Canyon Ranch in San Luis Obispo, Calif. on May 24. “The rustic, open surroundings,” Alexandria said. “I love nature, and this venue is very woodsy and simple, but so beautiful. The owners pend a lot of time making the property unique and very well maintained too.” The bride wore a satin a-line wedding gown with capped sleeves and a keyhole back, accessorized with a sideswept updo, long lashes, and bold, red lips, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a bow tie. Bridesmaids wore short mix ‘n’ matched white dresses and carried bouquets of roses, ranunculuses, peonies, calla lilies, and baby’s breath.”Walking down the aisle and seeing everyone I know looking at me with huge smiles on their faces and me waving to everyone in excitement that they were there,” she said. “I am such a dork, and it really shined through at this moment.” Believe it or not, but most of the decor was handmade by the couple! “The altar, head farm table, reclaimed wooden signs, wood block table numbers,” Alexandria said. “We had our hands on all of the details, it makes it more personal. I wanted to keep it pretty neutral and let the natural beauty around the venue be the source of color.” Following the string quartet recessional, guests found their seats for dinner via a chalkboard. Tables were decorated minimally. “I loved the romanic glow of the candles that lined the center,” she said. “We did family style fare.” Fun fact: the first dance “California Stars” was sung! In lieu of a traditional guest book, a photo booth was provided for extra entertainment as well as a custom Instagram hashtag #sandeckiwedding. The newlyweds’ best advice? “Keep it simple!” Alexandria said. “The wedding is about sharing your love with someone in front of your family and friends. It is easy to get caught up in all the details. If you have a lot, remember what you are doing and why you are doing it.”

Kayla and Jesse were married at the Dallidet Adobe and Gardens in San Luis Obispo, Calif. “The venue is absolutely beautiful,” Kayla said. “It went very well with our rustic theme.” Before the ceremony, Kayla’s leading ladies posed for the camera inspired by the movie Bridesmaids, and groomsmen received personalized mustache flasks. Her favorite moment? When the officiant announced we were man and wife officially. “My cheeks hurt because I was smiling so hard,” she said.” His favorite moment? Seeing his bride for the first time in her wedding gown. Escort cards hung from clothespins, centerpieces featured hydrangeas and dahlias, and the mini cake was topped with a pair of birds. “Don’t stress over the small details” Kayla said. “Once you’re in the moment and experiencing the day, you’re so happy; all those things that seemed like they mattered so much didn’t anymore. Just have fun!”
