Lynn & Christian
From the photographer: “One of our favorite moments during weddings is the first look. On our way walking over to the Langham Huntington’s amazingly landscaped Japanese gardens, we noticed we were taking a very long walk down a long covered bridge, and I knew this was the place! There’s so much emotion and anticipation leading up to this moment, and we love seeing the couple’s expressions as they see each other! For Lynn and Christian, we know it was a long planning process so to see them so happy was very rewarding for us!
When we first stepped outside to view the Horseshoe Garden at Langham Huntington, we definitely had to take a moment to digest what we saw! The grounds were so perfect and spectacular, the views of the valley were amazing! As we took a stroll around the path, we realized that there was 360 degrees of perfection. I love it when the bride has a long walk with her dad to the groom, there’s so much that happens on the way! The groom’s emotions rise, family and friends gasp as they see her for the first time. Coming down those steps looked like something out of a fairytale!
Every turn at this elegant venue had a new surprise for us, and the Georgian Ballroom was no exception! The vaulted and arched ceilings and historic artwork made the perfect backdrop for a romantic reception! The soft pink tones of the floral and cake were gorgeous. For us one of the highlights of the reception was all the activities for the kids. There was magic, balloons, face-painting, a photo booth, I think the kids were having more fun than the adults!” — Ron Miller of Ron Miller Photography
