Your wedding day is all about the love you share with your fiance, so why not wed in the most romantic of fabrics, lace. Whether choosing a bold floral pattern or a very fine Chantilly, lace exudes romance and has a very delicate, ladylike quality to it.

Designers are showing gowns in head-to-tow lace as well as accents and embellishments. Illusion necklines, a carry-over trend from last season, has expanded from clean tulle and netting to fine floral laces, creating sheer, high-neck lines that give a girl the modesty she may want for her ceremony, but still revealing a bit skin at the same time. Above are examples of some all-over lace wedding gowns from Spring 2013 Bridal Market:

Lea-Ann Belter Bridal added a soft color sash to define the waistline on this floor-length sheath. The lace overlay allows a hint of the blush underneath to peek through.

Using guipure lace Theia designed a very traditional sweetheart strapless gown and paired it with a matching guipure veil.

Temperley London’s lace gown hugs the body ever so slightly, features a high-neck, capped sleeves, and a thin belt at the waist.
