It’s almost Friday! And if you haven’t noticed that we’re suckers for succulents, today’s wedding styled shoot is full of them from the bouquet, boutonniere, centerpieces, place settings, and cake. Notice how the bride is wearing a tea-length wedding dress, which has become a runway staple this season. It’s perfect for this shabby chic, feminine theme.
From the photographers: “What an incredible experience we had bringing this dream to reality! The day we visited Boettcher Mansion, fog had settled all around, and the white of the fog began mixing with the white of the snow. Walking around the forest grounds felt so ethereal, and we knew right away that it was the perfect location for the shoot. As the snow melted, we were able to bring our beautiful details into the forest. We love the look of soft, romantic colors and chose a color palette incorporating pink, cream, peach, mint, and a dark purple accent.
We used a gorgeous barnwood table from Chairished Vintage Rentals to create our tablescape, and Vintage Rentals Denver brought such treasures to the table! Mismatched china plates and teacups, antique napkins, place card holders made from wine bottle corks, and vintage armchairs for the bride and groom. Pink Posey Designs adorned the tables and chairs with their floral masterpieces, and a delicate stem was tied to each cloth napkin with twine.
We placed the wedding cake and other tasty confections atop a vintage sewing machine table, while driftwood woven with cream-colored roses hung high above. Our final vignette began with flowers spilling from teacups that hung on tree branches, with a vintage suitcase filled with blooms and books of love poems, and a birdcage place card holder rested nearby.
Magnifica Bella and Captivate by Aleigha created stunning makeup and hair for the models, and Jamie’s dog, Berkley, proved to be the perfect model. We couldn’t have been more pleased with such a creative and talented team. This shoot was a dream to photograph!” –Lynn of David Lynn Photography and Jamie of Jamison Gale Photograph

For the boho-chic bride, we’re ending this week with an inspiring romantic style shoot for you! It’s no secret that we love floral crowns filled with big, billowing blooms as a veil alternative. They’re such statement pieces worth wearing. (Believe it or not, this trend is not just for flower girls anymore!) Match your floral crown with a delicate lace wedding gown or side fishtail braid hairstyle. See more of the delicious details below, including cake and macaroons:
Today’s Florida-based styled shoot was inspired by a pink-and-green swatch of striped fabric, which was used throughout the décor. The theme? “Fete Des Fleurs,” which means “Feast of Flowers” in French. Says the photographer, “The reasoning behind the feast of flowers was to create an atmosphere of feasting in a French garden, with a combination of florals, succulents, vegetables, and fruits as the main courses.” We’re obsessed with the lush and gorgeous floral arrangements, the regal gold and pink paper suite, and the incredible striped Hayley Paige gown that so perfectly matches the theme!
As part of our Valentine’s Day week of inspiration, we thought this peach and gray rooftop styled shoot would spark some romance. Elegant yet modern, it’s filled with pops of color, details such as “tears of joy” tissue packets and not to mention, a lounge complete with cigars and martinis. The venue not only offers beautiful backdrops for photographs but a feel of intimacy midst the bustling city landscape. Fall in love with one look:
