Now that you’ve seen some of the best looks on the runway, here’s a look at the overall trends.  There were some obvious ones like lace and tulle dresses, and then some more subtle detailing such as peplums and modesty.  Here’s Part I of WeddingWire’s Bridal Market Trend Report:

Tulle

Brides looking for that walking on a cloud feeling will have no shortage of wedding dresses made partly or completely of tulle.  From full ball gown skirts to pleated bodices, designers showed wedding dresses in a variety of silhouettes with this soft and delicate fabric.

St. Pucchi celebrated their 25th anniversary this season and created an avant-garde collection with a focus on modern silhouettes and textures.  Designer Rani Totman shared that when designing the line she focused on fabrication and was inspired by “the futuristic appeal of geometrics, combined with femininity and romance.”

I found that the designs were quite-regal inspired.  What do you think?

A simple sheath was featured with this tulle “coat” that was embroidered with silver thread and beading.  Perfect for the bride who wants some coverage for her arms for her wedding ceremony or in general.
