Kelsey and James were married at Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada on January 25. “I loved the SLCC because it had the ability to host a family style meal and a killer dance party all under one roof,” Kelsey said. “No really, it was actually THE best of ALL TIME. It didn’t hurt that it allowed the beautiful outside landscape of Whistler to be experienced within the floor-t0-ceiling windows too. We intentionally didn’t have a color scheme. I wanted it to feel light, rustic, and natural with a hint of glamorous sparkle.” The bride wore a v-neck satin wedding gown, accessorized with a faux fur coat and Ugg boots, while the groom wore a black suit, accessorized with a bow tie. Bridesmaids wore mix ‘n’ matched short dresses and carried bouquets of roses, ranunculuses, berries, and ferns. “Our ceremony, most people joke about getting through it to make it to the reception, but ours felt important and special,” she said.” There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.” All 120 guests stood in a close circle, except for parents and grandparents, who sat atop cushioned wooden tree stumps, as the newlyweds shared their first kiss! Reception tables were decorated with an assortment of breads and spreads, wine bottles, and candlelit mercury glass votives. Plus, string cafe lights were hung behind the head table as a stunning backdrop!

Lori and Zach were married at Maumee Bay State Park in Toledo, Ohio on December 14. “Having a winter wedding was never quite what this beach blonde girl had expected for herself, but wanting to quickly marry my handsome boy, we decided December was the month for us,” Lori said. “We stepped foot first into the Lodge lobby — complete with wall to wall windows, woodsy warmth, a catching scene of the lake, and (my favorite) cozy fireplace at every turn.” In just 4 short months, these two said, “I do” in an unforgettable blizzard! One of the bride’s favorite moments? “The three nights before [the wedding] of wines, cheeses, belly-laughter, and bouquet and centerpiece making with my sweetest family and friends,” she said. ” She wore a ruched wedding gown, accessorized with a fabric floral sash and faux fur jacket while bridesmaids wore gray and mint colored dresses in different styles. We love their stockings! Following the traditional church ceremony, guests arrived at the reception decorated with candlelit lanterns, willow tree branch centerpieces, and of course, a personalized mixed CD favor at each place setting.

Preet and Inder were married at the Sikh Cultural Society in Queens, N.Y. on January 26 followed by a reception at the Hilton Long Island/Huntington in Melville, N.Y. on January 27. Despite the snow, the couple didn’t shy away from taking outdoor pictures in their bright attire and opulent jewels. We couldn’t help but notice the intricate henna on the bride’s hands and feet too, which is traditionally conducted the night before during the Mehendi ritual. The reception’s ceiling was uplit with the couple’s names, walls were uplit with polka dots, and tables were decorated with tall floral centerpieces. All in all, a luxurious-inspired affair!
