This year, we published over 200 real weddings on this blog – from glamorous affairs to laid-back celebrations, we’ve truly seen it all. But some weddings and details really stood out, and we wanted to share them with you.
Modern and Cheeky Wedding Stationery
The wedding of two graphic designers in Palm Springs, California featured some of the coolest details we’ve ever seen. In particular, we loved the paper goods – from the aisle markers to the menus, the contemporary design and informal language really sets the tone for a totally relaxed affair and showcases the couple’s sense of humor. Q & A with the Groom:
1. If you could offer one piece of advice for other couples that are planning their wedding, what would it be?
Let your wedding planner do the planning! We found the more we gave Daniella and her team creative freedom, along with what we wanted as far as venue and theme, she was able to create something beyond our expectations. Belle Signature Design made it easy and fun.
2. Give us one moment in your wedding that you can’t stop thinking about.
We LOVED our pictures–Chris and I loved our photographer, Clane Gessel. He worked closely with us not only with WHERE are pictures were taken but HOW they were taken. This created that personal touch to all of our photos. Both our personalities came through in every photo, which is what we wanted. The last thing we wanted were those “tacky” or “staged” wedding photos that you see all too often. If you want photos that are amazing and capture who you are as a couple, then Clane is the perfect photographer.
