Lindsay and Timothy were married in a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony at Saint Mary of the Annunciation followed by a tented reception at The Island House in Charleston, S.C. on October 12. These two fell in love while attending Clemson University (Fun fact: they were dorm neighbors), and even though they now live in Chicago, they wanted to say, “I do” where it all began. Lindsay wore a form-fitting mermaid wedding gown, while her bridesmaids wore silver dresses in different styles. Groomsmen were more than happy to pose with sunglasses in their gray three-piece suits. The reception was oh-so-romantic decorated with white linens, ivory and blush flowers, and lanterns. Guests enjoyed Southern fare, including a raw bar, shrimp and grits, and a signature cocktail, and the night wasn’t complete without a group picture of all the college alumni!

Kellie and Nick were married under an old willow tree at Creek Club I’On in Mt. Pleasant, S.C. on April 26. “The romantic, natural, and serene surroundings, including a beautiful sunset made it the perfect location for us to start our new lives together,” Kellie said. She wore a sweetheart ruffled Allure Bridals wedding gown, accessorized with a feather hairpin, while her groom (who resembles actor Gerard Butler, right?) wore a tan suit and sage green tie. “Our favorite moment is when our eyes met as Kellie walked down the aisle arm and arm with her father and seeing her soon-to-be husband waiting for her,” the newlyweds recalled. The reception site featured a wraparound porch with rocking chairs and handmade burlap pillows, perfect for their Southern charm theme. Tables were decorated with hydrangea centerpieces, engagement picture table names, and mason jar candles. “The sparkler sendoff was so exciting,” she said. “As guests cheered, clapped, and congratulated, . . . we were united as one, and our loved ones gave us so many best wishes and blessings for our marriage.”

Rustic Blush Summer Garden Wedding in Tennessee

Q & A with the Bride:

1.  What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

I found CJ’s Off the Square through WeddingWire and fell in love online but didn’t think in a million years I would be able to hold my wedding there.  My fiancé and I were both from Nashville but living out of state.  The cute historic charm, the beautiful garden, and perfect touch of Nashville made it impossible to pass up, so we moved our wedding from Florida to back home.

2. Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

I don’t know if I could ever pick just three! I loved the moment that I walked in to see all of the details come together though!  The things that stood out the most were the amazing floral archway around the gazebo, the fun and fabulous photo prop section, and the girls beauty room to get ready in.

3. Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

Our Maid of Honor speech by my sister was a rap about us to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air song, which I can’t stop singing so that should probably be at the top of my list, but the moment of walking down the aisle with my father, seeing all of the guest looking back, and seeing my husband a nervous wreck was worth every ounce of sweat and time put into the planning process.

Q & A with the Bride:

1. What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

HollyHedge Estate was the first and only wedding venue we visited. New Hope, Pa. is one of our favorite areas, so we were instantly intrigued. The second we arrived at HollyHedge, we knew.  It was the most beautiful, ethereal, rustic, fairytale place we had ever seen; too perfect.

2. Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

1. Flowers – Mark Bryan and his team of experts did the most amazing job of translating what we asked for into the most amazingly beautiful floral arrangements!  They could not have been more perfect.

2. Table cards – Erin actually handmade our table cards himself.  They could not have been more darling and personal.  Just the right touch.  Our amazing wedding photographer, Rachel Pearlman took some amazing detail shots of the cards.

3. Toasts – Our families made such beautiful toasts to us during the reception.  In particular my mother, brothers and our bridal party.  So touching and sweet!

3. Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

The first look.  I was led out to the fountain area in the front courtyard of HollyHedge Estate.  Erin was standing there with a pink ribbon tied as a blindfold across his eyes.  I was so excited and nervous at the same time as I walked towards him.  When I reached Erin, I took his hand in mine, and we told each other how much we loved one another.  He told me how he could not wait to spend the rest of his life with me, and I told him how lucky I felt to have such an amazing person in my life.  We turned to face each other, and I began to untie the ribbon.  As it fell away, I could see it in his eyes that were truly meant to be together.  We both felt so connected in that moment.  It was so special; like a real spark between two people.
