Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton wore not one but two Vera Wang wedding gowns for her July 2010 wedding to Marc Mezvinksy at Astor Courts Estate in Rhinebeck, N.Y. At her interfaith ceremony, almost 400 guests watched her walk down the aisle next to father, Bill, wearing an ivory strapless gown with a raw-edge silk organza skirt and embellished belt, and following, she slipped on a silk tulle cross-back Grecian gown before she took the floor with her hubby for a choreographed dance to Etta James’ “At Last.” Her bridesmaids also wore Vera Wang, strapless bias-cut lavender chiffon dresses with a side draped bow, but her mother, Hillary, chose not too. Instead, she wore an off-the-shoulder Oscar de la Renta fuchsia ombre gown. Check out our favorite look-a-likes above.

Anne Hathaway tied the knot to actor and jewelry designer Adam Shulman Sept. 29 in Big Sur, Calif. wearing a custom Valentino dress. Her custom dress featured an off-the-shoulder neckline, delicate lace embroidered throughout and a 1920’s-inspired headband attached to a long veil. What do you think? Five Fabulous Looks from Rivini

Rivini designer Rita Vinieris was inspired by “Scena Galante” by Giovani Boldini for her Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The movement of the piece as well as the colors (elderberry and fawn) were ‘recreated’ in this collection by the use of silk organza, French lace and feathers because they are light. Here are a few of the gowns we fell in love with:

Ostrich Feathers: This short shift dress, perfect as a reception dress, is made from discs of organza and ostrich feathers.

Elderberry: These three gowns are different in silhouette and detail except for the elderberry sash embellished with crystals at the waist. Elderberry is in the purple family and Vinieris used varying degrees of the color as accents on these three gowns. In addition to being constructed beautifully, I’m personally a sucker for anything with purple on it.

A Sheath Made from Lace: Most lace gowns we saw at market were form fitting to the body in either a fitted bodice or a fit-to-flare silhouette, but this dress made from French lace is a sheath. The white lace is covered with a fawn colored overlay and illusion sleeves. It’s quite elegant.

Midriff Detail: A French Lace overlay with an organza sash is a simple, yet chic embellishment to this fawn colored fit and flare gown.

Tulle & Sparkle: What is it that makes a tulle gown with crystal detailing so appealing? This modified fit and flare gown has swirls of beading starting at the neckline and fades on to the skirt.
