Brides look forward to their last night out as a single lady before their big day. But lately, brides have been opting out of the traditional bar hopping and switching to alternatives that get their heart pumping and sweat flowing. Sounds fun, right? Try a zumba class, a trip to a trapeze school, rock climbing, a ropes course or even train for a triathlon with your best friends. Men always ponder more on how much an engagement ring will cost and tend to ponder less on the “Four C’s” of an engagement ring–cut, clarity, color and carat. Despite De Beers’ “A Diamond is Forever” 1947 campaign advocating that the average cost of an engagement ring is worth three months’ salary, the average man’s salary today is much higher than it was 30 years ago. The national average salary is $43,000. However, engagement rings are still pricey today as they were back then. The average cost of an engagement ring starts at $3,500. Do you think the average cost of an engagement ring is still worth three months’ salary? Let us know in the poll below.

What’s a “progressive” wedding? This is when a couple transports their guests to different venues for each phase of their wedding.
Why do this? A “progressive” wedding allows for your wedding to occur gradually instead of all at once. Your wedding day shouldn’t feel rushed! Take your time and let your guests experience your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception separately. Each location you take your guests to will have an increasing element of surprise.
What do you think? Let us know in the poll below.
