In addition, our Real Weddings Editor is also busy featuring cute couples for our photo galleries! Each week, she’ll be sharing her favorite real weddings on Fridays at noon. Check out this roundup below:
Relaxed New Mexico Ranch Wedding – Camille and Naiya were married at The Dreamcatcher Retreat Center in Santa Fe, N.M. on June 13. Fun fact: They were married in the middle of the 50-foot-long labyrinth under the light of a full moon. Spooky, right?

Seaside Nova Scotia Backyard Wedding – Kelly and David were married at The Captain’s House in Chester, Nova Scotia on September 27. “Our theme was inspired by our setting, a 200-year-old mansion on the sea, blue, tan, gray, and white,” he said.

Multicultural Washington DC Hotel Wedding – Sara and Steven were married at Hotel Monaco in Washington, DC on September 6. “Steven and I have both have very diverse cultural backgrounds,” she said. “We had already completed a traditional Hindu ceremony months prior, but it was so important to me to do the traditional Persian ceremony called the Sofreh.”

Mountaintop Colorado Deck Wedding – Liz and Chad were married at The Little Nell in Aspen, Colo. on August 23. “As we were walking back up the aisle . . . the clouds parted and the sun came out for the very first time all day,” she said. “It was as if our loved ones that couldn’t be there in person were smiling down on us. It was absolutely a goosebumps moment!”

Fabulous Indiana Farm Wedding – Heather and Gabe were married at the Kelley Agricultural Historical Museum in Sharpsville, Ind. on May 10. In lieu of a traditional unity ceremony such as a candle or sand, they opted for each guest to hold their rings for a “warming” moment.

Today we’re continuing the patriotic spirit with a round up of red, white and blue bouquets. Take a look at some of our favorites!
Nothing says glamour and romance like a pop of red-hot blooms. This warm, cheerful hue works well for any season.

Colleen & Jeff
Our Q&A with the Bride:
What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?
We really wanted a venue that was unique, had character and could fit our 300 person guest list. Everything at Fountain Square Theatre from the overall vintage vibe, to the balcony for cocktail hour to the marquis to announce our event really made the venue one of a kind and set the tone for our wedding day.
Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?
My three favorite details were the flowers, my dress (can I wear it again somewhere?!) and our beautiful photos that help me relive the wedding day everyday.
Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.
My favorite moment was when the DJ really got the reception kicked off and we could dance and have fun with our family and friends. We can honestly say we had a blast at our wedding!
Ashley & Wil
From the Photographer: “Ashley and Wil met at an ATM while students at Indiana University. They share a love of fitness and travel, so naturally they incorporated these things into their big day! The entire day was filled with personalized details, especially the reception, where the tables were named for places that were special in their relationship (including the ATM!) Their beautiful outdoor ceremony took place in a “secret garden” of sorts… the Tree Suite Garden at the Indiana University Memorial Union! The October leaves added many colors to the wedding day. The reception followed at Alumni Hall in the Indiana University Memorial Union, with each bridal party member being greeted with Hawaiian leis! After the awesome dinner (including a mashed potato bar), the night ended with a bike ride getaway!” ~ Jessika Feltz Photography
Gessica & Seth
From the Photographer: “Gessica and Seth were married in the beautiful art gallery of Nancy Noel, a painter from Indiana. The Sanctuary has a vintage, shabby chic style, which matched the vision of Gessica and Seth’s wedding day. Additionally, their on site chef created a wonderful gourmet menu along with the decadent cake in chocolate and red velvet. The quaint midwestern town of Zionsville was a beautiful setting for their photos.” –Jessika Feltz Photography
