Liz and Kyle were married at Lone Oaks Ranch & Retreat in Gainesville, Texas on May 10. The bride looked oh-so chic in a strapless lace form-fitting wedding gown. She accessorized with a simple pendant necklace and wore her hair in a wavy partial updo. Her bridesmaids wore sage green v-neck knee-length dresses and everyone including the bride carried a bouquet of white and light pink roses sprinkled with hydrangeas. The groom and his ‘men wore tan suits and matching sage green neck ties. The groom opted for a jacket, while the groomsmen donned tan vests. The two were married under a wooden arch outside. After the ceremony, guests moved inside, where each table was decorated with a floral centerpiece made of pink roses and baby’s breath. There were two cakes for guests to enjoy, one was a round multi-layer cake adorned with brown flowers and lacy ribbon. The other cake was in the shape of a blue star, a symbol of the Lone Star State. At the end of the night, guests were given personalized koozies as favors.

Melissa and Diego were married at Vrinda’s Meditation Garden in Miami, Fla. on September 10. “I always wanted to have an outdoor wedding,” Melissa said. “I love nature, and I wanted it to be at an ashram, so it was the perfect place.” Surrounded by 50 closest family and friends, the couple proclaimed their vows to each other. “During Vedic wedding ceremonies, the vows you exchange with your spouse include swearing friendship, fidelity, companionship, love, care, and to abide by them for 100 autumns,” she said. “How beautiful is that! Every word, and my husband’s look into my eyes when he was saying them to me are unforgettable.” The reception followed underneath a tent lit with lanterns. Tables were decorated with pink and orange linens and grass centerpieces. The guests’ favorite detail? The naked wedding cake with three different flavors: passion fruit, blueberry, and spirulina.

Lindsey and Jon Paul were married at Cabin Bluff, a hunting retreat, in Woodbine Ga. September 21.  After years of being a camp counselor, Lindsey knew she wanted a “glamping” wedding weekend along the Cumberland River. She wore a lace capped-sleeve wedding gown accented with an ivory sash and blue Badgley Mischka peep-toe pumps while Jon Paul wore a gray suit and blue tie to the outdoor ceremony. Going with a rustic theme, a clear frame reception tent was decorated with grapevine balls and twinkling lights overhead and centerpieces included candles in votives surrounded by greenery. There even were tables for the smallest attendants! Each one received a colored place mat, jellybeans, and toys to keep them entertained.

Q & A with the Bride:

1. What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

It was available! My original venue had to cancel my wedding 12 weeks prior due to event restrictions. Talk about anxiety! We had people traveling from all over the country and thank goodness I did my own invitations because I hadn’t yet printed them.

2. Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

1. Shoes

2. Brooch

3. Flowers

3. Give us the one moment in your wedding day you can’t stop thinking about.

Reading my vows. Dan and I decided to write our own vows, and although, I was very reluctant at first because I was nervous, I am so glad that we did. I’ll remember that moment forever.

Intimate Summer Vineyard Wedding in California

Q & A with the Bride:

1. What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

When we first started dating, my first birthday present to Chad was a trip to Paso Robles to go wine tasting. We’ve been coming back to visit a few times each year ever since, so it felt just right to pick a venue in this beautiful area. We searched for dog-friendly venues online, and Hammersky was the first one we saw. It was love at first sight. We couldn’t have found a more magical place.

2. Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

1. The Irish wedding bell bracelets that everyone wore to ring in our marriage and reflect Chad’s Irish heritage.

2. Since I’m German, we did a traditional cutting of the heart. My best friend handmade the heart, and it was so fun to cut it as the first task we had to complete as a married couple and have our family and friends there cheering us on

3. Having every one of our guests be a part of our day. Some created the bouquet and boutonnieres, some helped decorate, Chad’s best friend was our officiant. It just brought it all full circle.

3. Give us the one moment in your wedding you can’t stop thinking about.

We are so happy we did the first look. The moment of first seeing each other away from everyone was just so special, and it gave us time to calm down and connect before the ceremony and really remember it. Going down the aisle, I was a crying fool and barely remember it, but the first look moment is unforgettable.
