Gessica & Seth

March 2011

Zionsville, IN

From the Photographer: “Gessica and Seth were married in the beautiful art gallery of Nancy Noel, a painter from Indiana. The Sanctuary has a vintage, shabby chic style, which matched the vision of Gessica and Seth’s wedding day. Additionally, their on site chef created a wonderful gourmet menu along with the decadent cake in chocolate and red velvet. The quaint midwestern town of Zionsville was a beautiful setting for their photos.” -Jessika Feltz Photography

Bridgette + Ryan

June 2011

Eagle Creek Park – Indianapolis, IN

“He’s in a band. She loves music. He’s a vinyl junkie. She’s in love with Elvis. Bridgett and Ryan’s shoot was great.  Bridgette’s love of all things Elvis was awesome and fit perfectly with Ryan’s love of all things vinyl. It was hot, but we busted out the guitars, mics, record players and vinyls and had an amazing time.” -Rogue Art Photography

From the Photographer: “The couple held a beautiful wedding reception on the outdoor patio of The Monon Community Center in Carmel, IN. The bride, design-minded, wore a Sarah Seven design. The groom was outfitted handsomely in J.Crew. Centerpieces, including Ball jars, white/ivory flowers, and pots of herbs, were simple yet classy. Appetizers and champagne kept guests happy as they danced during sunset.”Bowersock Photographers

Nature Inspired Real Wedding: Emilie + Alex

Emilie + Alex

June 2010

Bloomington, IN

From the Photographer: The bride and groom are scientists, having met through their studies over bugs and grasses. Nature wove it’s way throughout their relationship, and so it was fitting that nature was a focal point of their wedding, held at the Indiana Memorial Union Secret Garden. The bride caught butterflies that were released as she entered. Host plants (cabbage) were attached to the chair ends. Apple trees flanked them during the ceremony (it was in an apple orchard where he proposed), and they were to be planted at their eventual home. Pots of herbs served as centerpieces. And bookmarks printed with various bird species were favors. A simple and beautifully-done event! ~Bowersock Photographers

When you imagine the perfect winter wedding, it most likely includes a stylish fur shrug, gorgeous shoes,  stunning lace dress, and an adorable couple who love photographs in the snow.  When Stephanie Rice, of Hawthorns Country Club, sent over Carla and Charlie’s wedding, I immediately was in love with all of the details.  And thanks to Morgan Matters for capturing their day so beautifully, and for sharing their photos with us!
