Monica + Hayri
Monica and Haryi’s wedding encompasses all of the perfect details for a Vermont setting – mountains, barn reception, vintage dress, oh my! I’m a huge fan of barn weddings, especially when they are lit by strings of white twinkle lights and votive candles!
Cindy + Jeff
From the Bride: “Jeff & I wanted a theme that reflects who we are as a couple: preppy, classy, and fun. We love being on the water, so we went with “nautical chic”. Our “must haves” included a waterfront venue, live band, and great food. Most importantly, we wanted to make sure that our guests would have a great time. We fell in love with the waterfront Silver Swan Bayside and booked it right away. Our colors were navy, white, and a touch of yellow. Jeff & the groomsmen looked the part in their Vineyard Vines ties, Navy blazers, and Sperry Topsiders. I wore Priscilla of Boston (which I customized during alterations), and my bridesmaids wore JCrew dresses. We picked “white and fluffy” flowers, and used mason jars for a rustic nautical touch. We carried our “white and fluffy” look through to our cake, a lemon coconut cake covered in fluffy white buttercream icing and coconut shavings. The Maryland Sage String Trio set the scene for the ceremony, and Winn Brothers Band rocked the reception. To make the reception a little more personal and fun we created a navy/white/yellow candy bar, got custom coozies, and a photobooth!”
