Sarah and Casey were married at the bride’s parent’s backyard in Novato, Calif. on July 20. “We wanted to keep the guest list small and make the event as intimate as possible,” Sarah said. “It just seemed like the best way to to do it.” She walked down the aisle wearing a Vera Wang ruffled wedding gown, accessorized with a purple sash and Christian Louboutins, while Casey wore a light gray suit, accessorized with a striped tie and pocket square. “Of course, I adored my dresses and shoes,” she said. “I am so grateful to have had not one, but two of her creations. And who doesn’t love a pair of 5-inch Louboutins, probably the only pair I’ll ever own, but that’s okay!” Following the ceremony, guests were escorted to rustic, white-washed tables decorated with burlap runners, lanterns, candles, potted herbs, and olive oil favors with “Grazie!” tags attached. “We knew we wanted our reception to follow the farm-to-table theme,” Sarah said. “Keeping this in mind, we used a lot of textural elements rather than colors.” The newlyweds’ favorite moment? “Having everyone together, celebrating and having a great time,” she said.
