Our final favorite summer color scheme of the week AND series — teal and green! This inspiration board is fit for a retro bride who wants a peacock-themed wedding. Wear a feathered headpiece, similar to Sarah Jessica Parker’s in the movie Sex and the City, statement necklace and pair of dangling earrings to show off your unique sense of style. Dress your bridesmaids in sweetheart ruched dresses and groomsmen in solid colored ties, but let your groom stand out in a checker patterned tie. Follow your ring bearer carrying a moss pillow down the aisle with a bouquet of greenery and scabiosa pods. And be sure to make your exit as dramatic as your entrance with a old-fashioned Volkswagen beetle.

Q & A with the Bride:
1. What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?
I searched and searched for a wedding venue. My family and I drove past the Citadel Beach House and we said, “Let’s just go look.” The house was locked so we walked around back. As soon as I turned the corner around the beach house, I saw the green lawn, the tall beach grass and the bright blue ocean. I turned around to my family and said, “This is it, no question.”
2. Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?
1. Gorgeous flowers
2. Delicious food
3. Super fun photo booth
3. Give us the one moment from your wedding that you can’t stop thinking about.
Walking out of the Citadel Beach House doors and seeing all of our friends and family supporting us and passing them down the aisle and making eye contact with my very soon-to-be husband. Seeing him for the first time on our wedding day surrounded with all of the people we love.
