Five Fabulous Looks from Anna Elyse Bridal

Posted by Bridal Market on Oct 22, 2011

The well-known flower girl and bridesmaid dress designer has expanded into wedding gowns for the Spring 2012 season. The collection consists of chic gowns with easy silhouettes and light embellishments. Great for the bride looking for something easy and not too fussy. The bridesmaid line introduced a few new silhouettes and colors that brides are sure to want their ‘maids to wear. Remember, with the Anna Elyse bridesmaid collection you can mix and match skirts and bodices and choose from a rainbow of colors and a variety of fabrics. Here are five new looks we loved:

Jewel Neck: This close-to-the-neck neckline gives the impression of a halter-like neckline but is not as sexy and a little more fun for an afternoon or less formal wedding.

Slinky: Speaking of a sexy gown, this halter neckline, slimming gown with cowl bodice can be dressed up with a lot of bling or kept clean with diamond or pearl studs.

-webkit-box-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.339844) 0px 0px 8px; height: auto; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-top: 12px; border: 8px solid white;

Pippa Effect: Are there pictures of Pippa Middleton on your wedding inspiration board? If so then this yellow, cowl neck knee-length dress may be what you’re looking for. Brides not into the whole white for the bridal party look can still get the ‘Pippa look’ in any color.

Gingham: Well, sort of. This ball gown wedding dress is made from a lattice-patterned fabric. Ideal for a summer or outdoor wedding.

A Classic: We just love this simple and elegant shantung knee-length gown. If you choose this dress you can gift a pashmina wrap to your bridesmaids as their thank-you gift as well as something to keep them warm if there is a chill in the air.

Five Fabulous Looks from Noir by Lazaro

Posted by Bridal Market on Oct 17, 2011

The bridesmaid dress line for the Lazaro brand was a collection of ten sophisticated gowns. The muted colors were shown in a beautiful, yet not delicate, lace or a Mikado organza. Here are few designs your girls may actually want to wear again:

One-Shoulder Neckline: The asymmetrical neckline is one of the red carpet’s favorites so it’s not a surprise that bridal designers have picked it up for both wedding and now bridesmaid dresses. This lace pencil skirt dress features a one-shoulder neckline with a ruffle detail.

LBD: Black is one of the most popular bridesmaid dress colors, but rarely do we see it in lace. This classic silhouette, strapless sweetheart neckline with pencil skirt is a refined look for a day or late afternoon wedding.

Cap Sleeves: If your wedding ceremony calls for a little coverage opt for a bridesmaid dress with capped sleeves. Similar to the strapless LBD in lace mentioned above, this design features a flattering bateau neckline with sleeves.

Black-Tie Wedding: Formal weddings call for formal gowns, so if you’re planning a black tie affair it’s appropriate that your bridal party be dressed in long gowns and tuxedos. This black Mikado trumpet gown with strapless sweetheart neckline is a classic formal gown that fits the bill.

Slate: Did you know that grey is the new black? Well in this case it’s called slate, but whatever designers call it, grey is a a great neutral that complements pretty much any other color in your wedding palette.
