Bridesmaid dresses have come a long way since the days of garish fabrics and giant shoulder pads – nowadays, bridesmaid styles are stylish, flattering and totally wearable post-wedding. In just a few short days, we’ll be checking out the newest dresses at New York Bridal Market (are you following us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest yet?), so we took some time to predict what the newest bridesmaid trends will be. Check out our Fashion Ideas section to find out the top 10 trends we think will be hot, hot, hot in bridesmaid dresses this season (hint: glam is back!). Stripes have been a major summer trend on ready-to-wear runways and now they’re appearing in bridesmaid dresses. Horizontally-striped dresses are normally associated with nautical and preppy style, and the navy Wtoo dress pictured above, right is no exception. How cute would this style for a summer yacht club wedding? But we also love the vertically-striped Bari Jay for a beach fete – the stripes are so slimming and flattering, and provide a unique ombre effect that we just adore.
