Elegant and chic are the words we would use to describe the Spring 2012 Winnie Couture collection. The A-line, trumpet and ball gown silhouettes were made from laces, tulle and satin and embellished with beading and embroidery. Here are five looks we think you’ll love too:

Classic lace: This fit-to-flare gown in lace has a sweetheart neckline and a crystal band at the waist.

Ball Gown: Brides looking for a classic formal ball gown should try on this duchess satin sweetheart strapless gown. The bodice is ruched and at the dropped waist is a crystal adornment. You can see the detail better in the photo on the left.

Beautiful Embroidery: The sweetheart neckline on this strapless fit-to-flare gown is embroidered with silver thread in an intricate pattern that follows around the back.

Draping and Embroidery: We just love draped tulle and this gown is on our top five list not just because of the draping but also because of the beautiful silver embroidery on the waist and bodice. It’s quite regal.

Tulle Flowers: By now you’re very familiar with the 3-D flower trend this season — we’ll do a story on it next week –but these three dimensional blooms aren’t as pronounced as some of the others we’ve seen. Swirls of tulle with crystal centers create these roses.

Five Fabulous Looks from Simone Carvalli

Simone Carvalli showed a mix of fun and flirty dresses as well as formal gowns at their Spring 2012 runway show. Brides will be able to find a more modest look for their ceremony and sexier options for their reception. Here are five designs we loved:

Sparkle Surprise: Hidden in the center of each ruffle on this one-shoulder gown are a small cluster of crystals. A small touch that we thought was a nice one.

In addition to the color we really liked the black applique swirl design on the above-the knee V-neck dress shown on right and the bodice draping and flirty skirt on the left.

Flat Flowers: We saw a range of three dimensional flowers at market but this flat and fringed petal design was one of our favorites. The modern blooms accent a sash at the waist and the shoulder straps. (The draping on this bodice is also quite flattering.)simone flower appliques, wedding dress bridal market events navigation

Hourglass Figures: Show off a narrow waist in this fit-to-flare gown made of lace and accented with satin and a crystal embellishments. The satin draping draws the eye in and gives the impression of a narrow waist as well as flatters one.

Reception Dress: Similar to one of our five faves from last season’s Simone Carvalli show is this short and sexy dress, perfect for the reception or after party. The one-shoulder tank sleeve is embellished with crystals and pearls and the skirt and hem are adorned with over-sized flowers with crystal centers.

Five Fabulous Looks from Hayley Paige

From the designer of Blush, Hayley Paige is a new collection from JLM Couture. The line had similar sensibilities to Blush in that the collection was light and airy with a youthful feel. Here are five looks we loved from the debut collection:

Cut-out Backs: Back detailing was important to every designer this season and cut-outs was one technique we saw a lot of. These two gowns both feature a cut-out back, of which one is in the shape of a heart. Remember, we said youthful.

Trimmed Hems: While many skirts were edged in a thick horsehair, this ball gown featured a petite band trim. Definitely more light and feminine.

Criss-Cross Straps: We loved these metallic criss-cross straps that crossed in both the front and then again in the back.

Swiss Dot: A young and fun fabric, Swiss dot gives off a without a care in the world type of feeling. This sweetheart strapless fit-to-flare gown has ruched detailing, a lace-up corset and flower detail above the waist.

Easy Breezy: We think this is the perfect dress for a tropical destination wedding. The lace gown is veiled in silk Georgette with a loosely draped overlay and accented with flowers on the bodice.

The hand-crafted, beautifully designed gowns by Lea-ann Belter are known for their careful attention to detail. He luxurious fabrics, Austrian crystals and pearl embellishments make her booth at bridal market a must-see. Here are five looks we loved:

A Trompe L’oeil Tier: At first we thought this was a tiered skirt but it’s not. The floral lace is placed midway between the hips and the hem, also giving the impression of a taller appearance.

Crystal Broach: This beautifully draped bodice is adorned with a crystal embellishment that first made us ask if it was a broach. We just love the understated elegance of this gown.

Lace Draping: This lace gown’s draped bodice highlights a bride’s figure and will give a girl an hourglass shape.

Bubble Skirt: We just love bubble hems. They make a skirt fuller and adding to this skirt’s voluminous look is a tier cascading from the dropped waist draped bodice.

Lace: We’re just loving all the lace we’ve seen at market and this elegant silhouette with dropped waist is one that caught our eye. The simple silhouette is paired with a tiered organza skirt.

The well-known flower girl and bridesmaid dress designer has expanded into wedding gowns for the Spring 2012 season. The collection consists of chic gowns with easy silhouettes and light embellishments. Great for the bride looking for something easy and not too fussy. The bridesmaid line introduced a few new silhouettes and colors that brides are sure to want their ‘maids to wear. Remember, with the Anna Elyse bridesmaid collection you can mix and match skirts and bodices and choose from a rainbow of colors and a variety of fabrics. Here are five new looks we loved:

Jewel Neck: This close-to-the-neck neckline gives the impression of a halter-like neckline but is not as sexy and a little more fun for an afternoon or less formal wedding.

Slinky: Speaking of a sexy gown, this halter neckline, slimming gown with cowl bodice can be dressed up with a lot of bling or kept clean with diamond or pearl studs.

A Classic: We just love this simple and elegant shantung knee-length gown. If you choose this dress you can gift a pashmina wrap to your bridesmaids as their thank-you gift as well as something to keep them warm if there is a chill in the air.
