Calla lilies are a popular wedding flower for fall and winter weddings, and for good reason. These flowers come in a variety of colors (including deep, almost-black burgundy, orange, lavender, and – our favorite – cream with a purple center), and create a chic and elegant look. From bouquets to centerpieces to boutonnieres, calla lilies can be used in a variety of arrangements throughout your wedding day. Check out these 20 pretty designs featuring calla lilies in our gallery here.

Seasonal Summer Boutonnieres

Posted by Caitlin on Jun 10, 2013

Boutonnieres often coordinate with your summer bouquets, but shouldn’t be overly feminine. The boutonniere’s history dates back centuries–originally deemed as the “buttonhole flower” by the French.  Men used to wear one daily on their frock coats.  Except, your soon-to-be husband most likely hasn’t worn one since high school prom, so let him choose between these options:

1. Daisy

Choose contrasting colors such as white and yellow.

Boutonnieres for Every Groom’s Style

Posted by Caitlin on May 09, 2013

Let’s face it, the bridal bouquet will get more attention than any other floral arrangement, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t show your groom’s lapel a little love with a statement-making boutonniere. A boutonniere must last for hours, meaning throughout the ceremony, photographs, dinner and dancing.  Depending on the sturdiness of the flower, it’s likely that one boutonniere just isn’t enough. So, be prepared and have two or more as backup. To help suit your wedding style, here are a few of our favorites:

Rustic – If you’re a sucker for succulents like we are, then choose this natural yet simple boutonniere filled with yellow billy balls and wrapped with twine.
