I am absolutely in awe of the shots April + Paul  captured of this couple’s big day. The photos of Melissa getting ready are truly stunning, they are the photos you hope to have from your wedding. Melissa’s bouquet, designed by Grow With Us Florist, was also a show stopper. Ranunculus blooms in several differ shades surrounded by berries, and hydrangeas, gave the perfect amount of color to their New Orleans City Park wedding.

Vintage Styled Engagement Session

I’m a sucker for adorable, styled, engagement sessions. I’m of the opinion that you should have props or a theme for these photos, because it loosens you both up (ensures you don’t have all forced posed photos) and if you’re hiring someone to take photos of you, why not make them unique? Meredith and Patrick gathered all of the props they used in their e-session from Etsy. You can find a lot of this stuff at local flea markets and thrift stores as well.
