Tayler and Alex were married at Desert Botanical Garden in Tempe, Az. on November 16. Surrounded by nature, the couple chose to do a first look before the ceremony. They both got teary-eyed as they opened their eyes to see each other — she wearing a lace wedding gown, accessorized with a DIY floral sash, and he wearing a gray tuxedo and patterned yellow tie. Surprisingly, they went went comfy shoes, TOMS and Converse! Guests were greeted with a sign that said, “Friends of the bride, friends of the groom, sit together, there is plenty of room,” and “No one is too old for fairytales, welcome to our happily ever after.” The reception pavilion was lit with hanging lantern stars overhead, tables were decorated with baby’s breath, hydrangea, and rose centerpieces in mason jars, and burlap runners, most which were handmade by the bride, mother, and sister.
