Summer & Chad

May 26

Huckleberry Farm, Jasper, Alabama

Our Q&A with the Bride:

What was the one thing about your venue that made you know it was the one?

The wonderful barn. Chad is a farmer and we are real outdoors people, so the barn and outdoor wedding really represented us as a couple.

Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

The wine box ceremony where guests wrote letters to us, and Chad and I wrote letters to each other. Chad’s boots being the vessels for the centerpieces. And our wedding cake topper of a man and a woman on a tractor – Chad asked me to marry him on a tractor!

Tell us about the one moment from your wedding day that you can’t stop thinking about.

When Chad was saying his vows it was a very emotional moment for me.

Amazing and Unique “First Look” Idea

Breanna & Ryan

About this “First Sight”: Breanna and Ryan are clearly a couple in love. They are very different though and they are a true case of opposites attracts. He is a biologist that loves to collect bugs while she is an Engineer that loves photography. They do have a common love of music that they wanted to incorporate into their special day. More and more people are choosing to see each other before their ceremony on the wedding day and so I decided to create their “first look” with a twist by placing a door in the middle of the field and asking Breanna to wait on one side of the door for her groom to arrive. It was so magical to see them stand on each side of the door without seeing eachother but when they did lay eyes on each other you could clearly see just how happy they were to share that moment alone with one another in the middle of a beautiful field. Courtney + Brian

March 2010

Salem, Alabama

This wedding took place in open field ceremony, with a reception in enormous tents. Throughout the tents were various food choices, decorations, lounging areas, enormous center pieces and sparkly vintage elements.  The bride and groom ended the evening by driving off in a vintage car!
