Q&A with the Bride:

Which three details from your wedding were your favorites?

1. The wood cuts for the centerpieces and windowpanes for the seating chart:

We came up with the idea shortly after we had gotten engaged.  I just loved how rustic, yet elegant they were.  One weekend after a big storm, Chad’s parents, Chad, and I jumped in a truck with a chain saw in hand and searched the neighborhood for the perfect fallen tree to snag and cut into pieces for the centerpieces.  It was priceless to see the determination and interest that Chad and his Dad had in doing this. They meant a lot to him, and it meant a lot to me that he cared so much. It was a fun project for us while also becoming a conversation piece at reception.

2. Freshly made apple cinnamon donuts made from freshly picked apples off the orchard:

The apple cinnamon donuts were a major hit with our guests and also tied in that fact that we were at an apple orchard.  You cannot beat fresh donuts, especially these.  They were to die for.  Most of our guests were eating them before dinner even started.  They liked them so much that we caught a couple of our friends swiping leftover donuts into purses. They are that good.  Don’t believe us?  Go try them for yourself.

 3. Our vendors

One thing we were keen on was making sure that we walked away from our wedding knowing that we were going to be able to relive that day again.  This is why we went after vendors that instilled a confidence in us of knowing they would capture every slightest detail of that day so we can relive our wedding day weeks later or even on our 50th anniversary. Our photographer, Jordan Lukianuk of JordanQuinn Photography, and our videographer, Bradley Productions, are incredible artists who made our day truly memorable.
