Wedding Aces Bridal Buds

We asked our readers to submit their “wedding dress wish lists” and we went on the hunt at New York Bridal Market to find their dream dress. Kara-Marie wrote in with the following request:

I’m looking for a 1950′s inspired strapless multi-layered lace gown with matching jacket…I dream of looking like my grandmother did on her wedding day, If I had the money I would recreate her dress specifically!

Luckily for Kara-Marie, many designers created gowns with retro-inspired flair this season. While she didn’t mention if she’s looking for a tea-length style (typical for 1950s wedding dresses) or not, we included some here. And you’ll notice that not all of these styles are strapless – we thought an illusion neckline might be a good (and era-appropriate!) coverage option, as well.
