Pearls are the most traditional bridal jewelry and while we’re accustomed to seeing brides wearing pearl earrings and necklaces, designers have stayed away from adorning gowns with them. Until now.
From all over beading to delicate detailing brides will be seeing a lot of pearl embellishments in bridal stores this fall. Here are three examples of how designers are incorporating pearls into their designs:
Theia (far left) encrusted the bodice of this A-line gown with pearls, which formed a floral pattern.
Very tiny pearls were added to the lace of this Monique Lhuillier (center) gown.
If you don’t want an all-over pearl gown accessorize your dress with a belt, like this one by Alfred Angelo (right).
