Wedding Aces Bridal Buds

Over the past few seasons, necklines have been working their way up. Of course, strapless has been number one is the neckline department for years now, but recently, illusion necklines have become quite popular. And this season, high necklines are appearing on the runways more frequently. Here are some of our favorite high necks from this season:

It would be easy to assume that high necklines only work for winter weddings, but paired with an asymmetrical hemline as in this Ines Di Santo dress (left), this style could certainly work in a warmer month.

Take a clean, charmeuse gown, pair it with a pearl-studded high neck, and you’ve got a fashion-forward statement from Theia (center) – still form-fitting and sexy, of course, but a bit more modest.

And from Oscar de la Renta (right), a super-romantic style that we could imagine in a grand house of worship.
