A few weeks ago at Chicago Bridal Market, we noted that many designers were featuring gold wedding dresses in their collections – a definite turn from the mostly silver-hued beading we’re used to seeing. Well, the trend in continuing here in New York, and the flattering gold hue is appearing in a variety of ways:
Dennis Basso (far left) showcased a grand ballgown in a gold satin fabric. How amazing would this dress look by candlelight?
A gown by Temperley London (center) featured a metallic collar that had a Cleopatra-esque vibe.
And Monique Lhuillier‘s sparkly creation (far right) includes all-over gold beading
