This week, we explored the idea of romantic wedding dresses in our new Fashion Ideas page, and spent some time trying to define what the style actually means. We’re thinking something flowy, ethereal, maybe a lightweight and airy fabric, something ultrafeminine like layers of lace or tulle. And then we started thinking about the new Marchesa collection – each style feels utterly romantic (whatever that really means), lush, and feminine – but still modern and fashion-forward. The two dresses above were among our favorites. The first would look just incredible at a garden wedding, and the second has a contemporary princess vibe (love that metallic bodice detail!).
