Carie and Chris were married at Springhill Pavilion in Belgrade, Mont. on August 23. Since the couple first met while mountain biking, it only made sense that the wedding would take place outdoors at the base of Ross Peak overlooking Big Sky Country. The bride wore a v-neck lace fit ‘n’ flare wedding gown, accessorized with cowboy boots, while the groom wore a three-piece tan suit, accessorized with a pink tie. Bridesmaids wore black chiffon dresses and carried bouquets of roses, dahlias, thistles, and greenery. Before the guests arrived, the two opted to do a first look that brought each to tears. The ceremony began with the processional as the most adorable ring bearers walked down black labrador retrievers, and ended with the recessional as the newlyweds fist pumped. Probably the most notable of the reception is that of its history dating back to 1907. Clearly hung is a sign that says, “Oh the stories these old walls could tell.” Tables were decorated with burlap runners and mason jar centerpieces atop wooden slabs. Our favorite detail? The personalized koozie favors that included a “You were here” state logo.
