You can save a lot of money buying gowns at a sample sale. The discounts are hard to beat.

Hi Desirey (and all you other curvy brides out there!),
Sample Sales do not include plus sizes. They are sales of “off the rack” gowns, the ones brides try on in the store. That’s one reason you can get such good prices on them! Sometimes they need to be cleaned or pressed before wearing, but hey, that’s nothing when you consider the savings–especially on something as luscious as an MLH dress.
Samples are usually in sizes 8 or 10. That’s why you sometimes see bridal assistants with the clips, to give those skinny gals a sense of what the gown will look like after the alterations.
Best bet for designer discounts for plus size would be a QUALITY, REPUTABLE resaler.

She should know you and what’s best for you well. You should pay attention to the following two points, first, to ensure that she would not impose her own views on you; second, no mother and friend accompany you together, because both of them will let you try on the most suitable one in their minds, and you will feel at a loss. You may get nothing more than exhaustion a whole day.
