Known for opulent gowns, the Spring 2012 Kenneth Pool collection featured small dramatic touches that make a huge statement. Jeweled encrusted bodices, tulle skirts that sparkle and belts with bling were some of the details on the runway. Here are a few that we think you’ll want to try:
Belts with Bling: Some dresses don’t need a lot to make a statement. This sleek satin V-neck trumpet gown is embellished with a crystal belt that wraps around the back, just below a low V-back.
Pleated Tulle:Brides working out for their big day can show off their fit figure in a figure-flattering gown like this pleated tulle, dropped waist one with jeweled embelishments under the empire waist.
Feathers: Adding an element of texture to this tulle skirt are wisps of white feathers. A nice contrast to the tulle, rouched bodice.
Textured Skirt: Another trend we’ve seen on a number of runways is the textured skirt, created with floral detailing. These “flowers” are made from pieces of organza appliqued and embellished with a small crystal.
Starbursts: Looking for a little sparkle? This delicate tulle ball gown sparkles with small crystal embellishments that create a starburst pattern.
