This cool couple wanted a “hip” wedding that was anything but traditional, without breaking the bank. The organic décor at Kate and Josh’s wedding was unlike any other. Traditional flowers were omitted and replaced with galvanizing forest elements such as mushrooms, tree stumps and slabs, artichokes, curly willow branches, fungi, button mums, vine balls and angel vines, coxcomb and cabbage (to name a few), not to mention several other botanical organics for guests to gawk over. The bouquets, Kate’s sparkle studded stilettos, the moss arch alter, the escort card wicker window walls and the eccentric décor all correlated to produce not only an avant-garde event, but a glamorous, whimsical, and psychedelic day of “I do’s.”
