I love false lashes! They look great in wedding photos and are fun to use!
I think e.l.f. has a great concept. I absolutely LOVE to try new colors and looks with makeup, but all the good colors are usually too expensive. My favorite tip that I’ve received about wedding makeup is not to wear anything with too much shimmer. It’ll make your face look super shiny and greasy in photographs because you don’t see the shimmer, you just see the shine.
My favorite wedding makeup tip is to not wear too much of it! So many women make the mistake of putting so much on, that when it’s picture time and the flashs are going…they look almost ghostly! A little is okay, and a good amount is better…but too much is not! =]
My best make up tip? I think I have two! Fake eyelashes– for the bride and for the bridesmaids. Just make sure they still look natural! The other tip? Even if you are someone who doesn’t wear make-up everyday, still wear make-up on your big day. You will look like you, just better!
You don’t need a lot of make up on to look pretty! You do need quality makeup in the right colors for you. Lip gloss and lip liner are a must have.
Its best to use some make up but don’t do over kill I think a natural make up look is the best way to go, =)
Have a friend be in charge of reminding you to reapply lipstick. You will never remember to do it unless someone is there to tell you to!
I believe a great bright eye and a nude lip is a great look. If it is an evening wedding a great smokey eye and and nude lip works amazing!
Fave makeup tip? Use tinted moisturizer! It keeps your skin moisturized and feels a lot better than foundation. To make sure it stays put, dust some loose powder on top, and you will look fresh and picture ready. Less is definitely more!
add a lighter color to the inside corner of your eyes it makes even those of us with dark brown eyes look brighter
Use a lighter silvery shadow color under your brow to highlight your eyebrows. Be sure to use primer so that your make up lasts longer. False eyelashes can be the extra touch, but can also be too much if they are too long.
dark colors first then light, blend in circular motions
While I absolutely LOVE Lash Blast mascara from Cover Girl…it is NOT water proof. I love the pop it gives my lashes without clumping. I knew my wedding was a sure bet for the waterworks. No worries! I covered my lashes with the Lash Blast first. Let it set. And in came ELF waterproof mascara to the rescue! Did a double coat of mascara from ELF and was ready for the day! Waterworks included
natural is the way to go… oily skin use a little bit of powder…
Waterproof mascara for the waterworks!
Keep it simple so your best, beautiful self shines through in the photos (plus, there’s no cringing with embarrassment in the years to come).
Dust a little sparkle on the top of your cheeks, just under your eyes for a little extra glow.
And, most importantly, ENJOY your day – there’s nothing more beautiful than a happy bride!
if you want to try something new, do a test run on your bachelorette party- that way you are not disappointed and know what to expect and you can see how your makeup endures through the evening.
My tip is hire a professional because we (I’m a Makeup Artist:) know how to make your makeup pop in pictures. A lot of people want to look natural which is great, although when the flash goes off, or when you are having pictures taken outside…it really can cancel out a lot of the makeup. So if you decide not to hire an Artist, then remember to step it up slightly if you want your makeup to show up in your pics…especially on the lips and don’t forget to fill in those brows so they don’t get lost as well.
My favorite wedding make up tip is to accent either the eyes or the lips (not both!) and accent the other with neutral shades, like pink or brown.
Bring a friend with you to your bridal makeup consultation so you can make it fun and get honest feedback! Try putting a little white eyeshadow at the inner corners of the eyes to open them up and help you look fresh and rested on your wedding day.
These are beautiful! Hope i could get one.
The most awesome tip that I have is for sleepy eyes.
Eyes look tired from stress and lack of sleep?
Simply line your eyes with white liner before applying your usual liner. INSTANT POP!
For ladies that don’t wear liner: Stay away from dark shadow and instead put some white shadow on your lazy lids and accent your crease with a creamy natural tan or brown.
Tah-dah!
From sleepy to sexy and awake in 1 minute!
I think the brown, subtle hues look so pretty and natural on your wedding day.
Visine on red pimples. It not only takes the red out of your eyes, its a quick fix for red blemishes as well!
False eyelashes. They have to look real but false eyelashes will really draw attention and open up your eyes.
I think brides look their best when their makeup is subtle but not overpowering. I myself like using the natural colors look cause I look better. A little shimmer sparkle powder though doesn’t hurt for that extra little shine in your pictures!
i wear black or brown eye liner to make the blue pop out of my eyes.
