This year, we published over 200 real weddings on this blog – from glamorous affairs to laid-back celebrations, we’ve truly seen it all. But some weddings and details really stood out, and we wanted to share them with you.
Modern and Cheeky Wedding Stationery
The wedding of two graphic designers in Palm Springs, California featured some of the coolest details we’ve ever seen. In particular, we loved the paper goods – from the aisle markers to the menus, the contemporary design and informal language really sets the tone for a totally relaxed affair and showcases the couple’s sense of humor. We just can’t resist a wedding that features chevron. The zigzag pattern is so fresh and lively – and we loved how bride Taryn incorporated it into her Maryland bayside wedding. And we’re obsessed with her coral and gray color scheme – it feels a bit beachy, a bit feminine, and totally modern. Love. See more of Taryn and Mike’s summer wedding here.

Glam Done Right
It’s not easy to create a glamorous wedding without going too over the top. But Florida couple Carla and Aaron totally made it happen with their Florida celebration. The decor felt totally glitzy and lush but still romantic and intimate. A prime example is the couple’s ceremony canopy. It’s absolutely dripping with crystals, but still feels completely elegant. Classic, Romantic Wedding Attire
We think that Jillian and Ryan’s wedding-day attire was so spot-on. A perfectly fitting tux (so dapper!) and a body-hugging gown with a touch of blush (so on-trend!) provide that Old Hollywood look that still feels wedding-appropriate and entirely romantic. And Jillian’s feather headpiece adds the right amount of whimsy. See more of Jillian and Ryan’s historic estate wedding here.

We kept coming back to this wedding over and over again. A wedding at sea in Seattle featured nautical details, but the couple was sure not to take things in too preppy of a direction. Sure, there’s a little seersucker, an anchor motif, some rope, and seashells scattered throughout, but it’s all so tasteful and spot-on. And we love the umbrella favors – way to make the best out of Seattle’s rainy climate! See more photos from Jennifer and Dave’s private cruise wedding here.
