The diamond rush is on!
If you are planning to be in the DC Metro area this Friday, be sure to take in this event! The folks at Mervis Diamond Importers have created a modern day diamond mine with 60 REAL DIAMONDS buried in the sand. If you’re lucky, you could take one home – you keep what you mine!

They will be running 5 individual digs throughout the day, each with a different DC radio station and their radio personalities.
10am-11am: WASH-FM Bill Worthington
11:30am-12:30pm: HOT 99.5 Samy
1pm-2pm: DC101 Flounder
2:30pm-3:30pm: WBIG Ballard
4pm-5pm: WMZQ Jeffro
That would be a cool way to get a diamond.
