From the Groom: “We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows that looked out to Michigan Avenue at the Peninsula Hotel. The beautiful staircase leading from the main lobby down to the reception area was very impressive, too. Old St. Patrick’s Church in downtown Chicago is the oldest church in the city and by far one of the most beautiful churches in the country. The architecture and stained glass windows are really hard to beat. We’d advise other couples to strongly consider working with a wedding planner for ‘day of’ details. You will save tons of time and frustration, as well as get pointed to some top-notch vendors such as graphic designers, florists, DJs, and photographers.”
