This idea is so fun! And it doesn’t have to just be for those of you waiting to ask the “will you marry me” question. This is a fun idea if you and your fiance want to do a photo shoot, post engagement, so you have those pictures forever. And it is Valentine’s Day, so even just inspiration for a romantic picnic in the park (if you’re in a warm part of the world), or a picnic on the floor of your living room! Either way, we loved this and had to share! Happy Day of Love Everyone!
This couple’s photo session makes me smile! This couple has so much love and affection towards each other, and it shows in these photographs. Plus, when you can find a location as beautiful as this one, it adds to the amazing-ness. Thanks to Summer Jean Photography for sharing!
We wanted to share this wedding because of the very unique Hollywood-Style shots of the bride and couple. The use of solid, dramatic, colors and artistic black and white dressing room shots works perfectly with the brides vintage vibe and makes you feel like you’re getting a sneak peek into the dressing room of a Hollywood Star!
About this “First Sight”: Breanna and Ryan are clearly a couple in love. They are very different though and they are a true case of opposites attracts. He is a biologist that loves to collect bugs while she is an Engineer that loves photography. They do have a common love of music that they wanted to incorporate into their special day. More and more people are choosing to see each other before their ceremony on the wedding day and so I decided to create their “first look” with a twist by placing a door in the middle of the field and asking Breanna to wait on one side of the door for her groom to arrive. It was so magical to see them stand on each side of the door without seeing eachother but when they did lay eyes on each other you could clearly see just how happy they were to share that moment alone with one another in the middle of a beautiful field. This couple got married the previous year and did a style shoot for Amy Majors Photography at the local state fair in St. Paul, Minnesota this past summer. We love the use of the black and white photos in a setting we naturally think of as colorful. It makes everything so romantic and timeless.
