Dress Designers (from left to right): Allure Bridals and Justin Alexander
Every detail of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ Sept. 9 wedding has been kept a secret, except for the venue and dress. Here’s what we know: According to Martha Stewart Weddings, Lively wore an off-white Marchesa dress with a silk tulle bodice adorned with crystal and rose gold embroidery. From these details, the dresses pictured above could be a cross between what she walked down the aisle in. It’s too bad that we have to wait for exclusive pictures from Martha Stewart Weddings until December, but for now why not take a look at our dress gallery for inspiration.

What’s an “unplugged” wedding? This is when a couple asks their guests to turn off all electronic devices, including, cellphones, smart phones and cameras, during their ceremony and reception.
Why do this? Having an “unplugged” wedding allows for the professional photographers and videographers to do their job and allows for your guests to be more present and not be distracted by uploading their own photographs to Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
What do you think of this trend? Let us know in the poll below.

Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds were married Sept. 9 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, S.C. Its rustic charm and lush gardens attracted the pair to this venue, but what’s most surprising of all is that they managed to keep their nuptials a secret and so did their planners at Martha Stewart Weddings! It may also look familiar because it was used in the 2004 film “The Notebook” as the summer home of Allie (Rachel McAdams). See what others have thought about Boone Hall Plantation-read their reviews!
