Dress Designers (from left to right): Vera Wang and Lazaro
Even though she has been engaged to Muse musician Matthew Bellamy since April 2011, there are no wedding bells just yet for Kate Hudson. In fact, it might be a surprise wedding.
“I think until the day we get married, the answer is going to be, ‘We have no intention right now of getting married.’ And then you’ll find out we got married,” said Kate Hudson in an interview with USA Today. “We have an idea. It’s starting to formulate but it’s a timing thing. But honestly, right now, Matt is touring. Ryder is in school. I’m working.”
Here are our predictions: Maybe she’ll wear a Vera Wang ball gown with Chantilly lace, similar to what she wore in Bride Wars. Or maybe she’ll have another winter wedding and become inspired by this vintage lace gown accented with a matching beaded and embroidered bolero jacket.

Pantone revealed Emerald, “a lively, radiant, lush green,” as its Color of the Year for 2013 on Thursday.
“Green is the most abundant hue in nature–the human eye sees more green than any other color in the spectrum,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, in a press release. “As it has throughout history, multifaceted Emerald continues to sparkle and fascinate. Symbolically, Emerald brings a sense of clarity, renewal and rejuvenation, which is so important in today’s complex world. This powerful and universally appealing tone translates easily to both fashion and home interiors.”
Not only will Emerald translate into both fashion and home interiors but also weddings. We’ve already seen a few weddings incorporate this hue into their bridesmaid dresses, decor, tablescapes and florals, but will you incorporate this hue into your nuptials in 2013? Let us know in the poll below.

Jessica Simpson reportedly plans to wed former NFL player Eric Johnson before baby number two arrives, according to Huffington Post Weddings.
“Jessica isn’t concerned about her baby bump showing in the wedding pictures and feels she has put off her nuptials for far too long,” a source told Radar Online. “Date-wise, she is thinking before next summer, possibly February or March.”
Here’s what we know: Simpson wore a strapless, lace Vera Wang gown for her first marriage to Nick Lachey in 2002. Now that she’ll be dressing for two, maybe she’ll wear a strapless, mermaid gown with floral embellishments similar to what Bethenny Frankel, who was seven-months-pregnant at the time, wore to her wedding. Or maybe she’ll choose lace again and be modest as she walks down the aisle in a capped sleeved, tulle gown.

So the saying goes, “It’s bad luck to see your bride before the ceremony.” But couples these days are proving this myth wrong. A pre-executed first look before the ceremony allows for the bride and groom to have an allotted amount of private time together and take a few intimate photos. Whereas, during a traditional walk down the aisle, all eyes are on the bride, and your guests have their phones out ready to upload photos to a social media platform. What your guests don’t realize is that they are missing the groom’s spontaneous emotion as he sees his bride for the first time. It’s the best part! (Remember, you could have an unplugged wedding.) So, will the first time your groom sees you be before the wedding or as you walk down the aisle? Let us know in the poll below.

Dress Designers (from left to right): Carolina Herrera and Justin Alexander
True Blood actress Evan Rachel Wood married Jaime Bell surrounded by close family and friends during a small ceremony in California on Oct. 30. Wood wore a custom Carolina Herrera Chantilly lace mermaid gown with capped-sleeves and a ribbon waist detail.
“I am so happy for Evan, she is a timeless beauty, and her gown in Chantilly lace captures this perfectly,” Carolina Herrera told Us Weekly.
Here’s what we know: On her wedding day, Wood tweeted, “Words cannot describe the happiness I am feeling. Overwhelming.” She also tweeted that the couple’s wedding song was “(Today I Met) the Boy I’m Going to Marry.“–a classic from the movie Father of the Bride.
