Become inspired by many of the warm, rustic colors of fall for your wedding bouquet! Seasonal fall flowers include: black-eyed susans, dahlias, chrysanthemums, lilies, roses, orchids and gerberas. Of course, you’re thinking of using reds, burnt oranges and yellows in your bouquet, but don’t feel restricted to these colors. By adding pops of color, like purple, pink and white, your bouquet will turn into a statement piece. Check out more bouquets in our gallery full of bold colors perfect for any fall wedding.
Rumor had it, Adele secretly got married to her fiance Simon Konecki last week, but the singer denied reports saying in a tweet, “I’m not married…Zzzzzzz.” If and when she decides to get married officially, we’ve picked some dresses we thought she might wear. Here’s what we know: Adele seems to gravitate towards edgy but feminine looks. So perhaps she’d like a strapless, lace and tulle ballerina tea-length dress with black accessories, which is her go-to color! And of course, red lipstick. Or maybe she’ll go for a more form-fitting look like a sleeveless, mermaid lace dress with beaded embroidery.
When thinking about your wedding reception, you’ll need to decide if you’re giving your tables names or numbers. Numbers are the most common, because they’re so clear and easy for guests to see. There are lots of creative ways to incorporate table numbers into your decor – you can use house numbers, topiary numbers, and lots more. Table names can add some personality into a wedding reception – but it’s important to make sure that the names reflect your personality as a couple, whether the tables are named for places you’ve traveled, your favorite hiking trails, dorms at the college you attended together. If you’re spending too much time thinking of creative names for your tables, it’s probably best to stick to numbers. If you’re getting married this weekend and have been nervously stalking the weather forecast for this weekend, you’re probably aware that in most parts of the country, it’s pretty darn hot outside! In an effort to keep your guests cool and comfortable, here are a few last minute ideas:
Before we head out for the Memorial Day weekend, I wanted to share this colorful, summer, winery style shoot sent to us by Larsen’s Photography and Quintana Events!
The green, orange, and blue color palette is truly stunning. And how Quintana Events pulled everything together makes this set-up quite magical. It helps that the location was at the beautiful Jacuzzi Family Winery.
If you’re decorating a table this weekend, consider using bold, vibrant florals for your centerpieces, like the ones in these photos. And if you’re not throwing any big party and just relaxing, enjoy yourself and have a Happy Memorial Day! xo
