A few members of the WeddingWire team headed up to New York last weekend for Bridal Week, an annual event where all of the top wedding gown designers have exclusive runway shows across Manhattan. Think Fashion Week for weddings!
While a few of us were bouncing around to different private viewings, we also made Pier 94 in Midtown, New York City our home for the weekend. We were thrilled to be the show’s media sponsor this year; providing select designers with a private runway show, and guests of the event some R & R at a chic lounge full of treats from some of our generous partners.

We invited all of the designers and attendees for a champagne toast and cupcakes on Sunday. The champagne and cupcakes reception was thanks to Georgetown Cupcake Soho.
Judith Leiber’s creative director Jana Matheson was in our booth for a Q&A on Monday for 2 hours. The Judith Leiber bags were included as part of our Lounge décor for the full weekend so guests had a chance to ooh and ahh over them.
Our lounge was the spot for guests to “Power Up” and refuel. Along with ‘charging stations’ for laptops and phones, we offered a delicious candy buffet from Just Sweets, and Honest Tea provided a selection of over six teas throughout the weekend to hydrate!
We had an absolute blast and can’t wait for the Spring 2013 Bridal Market event!
Each June, Gay Pride is celebrated at Pride festivals and parades in communities all over the country (and world!). This past Saturday, June 9, WeddingWire and GayWeddings.com celebrated Pride and our partnership with the LGBT community of our Nation’s Capital, with our Wed We Can campaign.
Members of the WeddingWire and GayWeddings.com team participated in the festivities with same-sex couples from all over the US and distributed bright t-shirts and even brighter stickers! Here are some photos highlighting Capital Pride 2012 and Happy Pride!

I am incredibly excited to share Molly and George’s wedding. Molly is part of the WeddingWire team (and has been long before she was planning her own wedding!), so this feature is special in so many ways (beyond the fabulous details and venue). Words do not describe how amazing these two people are. Their love is infectious, you can even catch it by just watching the video and looking at the pictures below. I will leave it to their adorable video clip, by Jeff Brouillet Films, and their breath-taking photos, by The Feds Studio, to showcase just how magical this day was.
