After months of experiencing the excitement, exhaustion, and stress that comes with planning a wedding, escape to the Caribbean – a perfect honeymoon location with none of the hassle and all the fun. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing getaway or an action-packed adventure, the Caribbean has it all! Check out just a few reasons why the Caribbean is a great honeymoon spot:
1) Romance & Luxury
The Caribbean offers scenic settings highlighted by azure blue waters and white sandy beaches, creating an ambience that embodies true romance. Whether you and your loved one are strolling on the beach, watching the sunset or just relaxing under a canopy of stars sipping champagne, your experience in the Caribbean will be one of your fondest memories. Something as simple as dining under the moonlight or as extravagant as a candlelit private meal in a lavish suite gives you the chance to unwind from months of wedding planning stress.
2) Island Hopping
One of the greatest advantages of honeymooning in the Caribbean is the proximity and accessibility to many islands. Each island has its own personality, history and way of life that can be easily experienced with a quick boat ride or flight. Hike through tropical foliage in Jamaica, wonder at the stunning blue waters of the Bahamas, or experience the wonders of Mother Nature on more secluded islands such as Antigua and St. Lucia.

Protect your memories
First there was friendship, then dating and finally he proposed. Congratulations! Now you’re planning your wedding and your life together. With hundreds of things to do, don’t forget how important it is to protect your memories. Insuring your jewelry is as important as planning your special day.
More than a financial investment
Consider everything that went into your jewelry purchase. The time spent shopping, working with a jeweler and the moment you said yes. Homeowners and renters insurance companies don’t always understand that your jewelry represents more than a financial investment. Perfect Circle™ Jewelry Insurance by Jewelers Mutual® understands this because jewelry insurance is all we do.
We cover real life
A Perfect Circle policy provides comprehensive jewelry coverage based on how you live your life. We understand if you lose your ring, you can’t always pinpoint how it went missing, so we cover mysterious disappearance. We replace lost jewelry with the very same kind and quality as the original. Wearing jewelry means it might get damaged. When you need a repair, we allow you to work with your own jeweler, not one in a network.
Look to the jewelry insurance experts
Every detail, every facet, everything matters to us. We employ jewelry insurance experts and Graduate Gemologists (GIA) who understand that your jewelry represents your connection to the ones you love.

Like a chain of pearls, the Florida Keys stretch 150 miles southwest from extreme southern Florida, separating the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic Ocean. Comprised of more than 400 islands, the Keys have attracted visitors for many decades, most notably writers, artists, fishermen, and free-spirited folks searching for perennial sunshine and peaceful waters.
Honeymooners are also taking notice of this beautiful and diverse region. With numerous outdoor activities (distinguished by a vibrant underwater ecosystem), a variety of resort offerings, and exciting sights and attractions, all in a tropical setting, newlyweds can experience the honeymoon of their dreams without ever leaving the country.
From Carnivals to Craft Beer in Key West
With its party atmosphere, laid-back vibe, and seemingly endless attractions, Key West is often the feature destination for newlyweds when visiting the Keys.
First, get your shopping fix along Duval and Greene Streets before making your way north towards Mallory Square. The popular waterfront area is one of the city’s main focal points and a top spot for people watching. Be sure to go a few hours before sunset (however, beware when cruise ships are in port) and take in the carnival-like atmosphere, complete with street performers, live music, local crafts, and fresh food.

Whether you’re seeking unique adventure activities or relaxing days under a swaying palm tree, St. John of the U.S. Virgin Islands offers a little bit of everything for honeymooners.
For outdoor enthusiasts, the options are practically endless. The island features an expansive national park, spectacular beaches, and terrific water sport opportunities. For couples looking for some much-needed rest and relaxation, consider going for the unparalleled shopping, historical sites, charming towns, and impressive resort offerings.
But no matter what, with a relaxed ambiance, gorgeous surroundings, and accommodating residents, this one-of-a-kind Caribbean destination will prove to be the perfect place for newlyweds to spend their first days together as a married couple.
Virgin Island National Park
This expansive national park, which covers nearly two-thirds of the island, features a slew of terrific hiking opportunities (whether solo or through guided treks). While options certainly exist for avid hikers, there are also plenty of offerings for casual trekkers.
First, hit the Reef Bay Trail, a three-mile-long path that heads downhill to a sandy beach. Highlights include the ruins of a sugar factory, plus ancient petroglyphs. Treks to the trail often depart from the visitors’ center in Cruz Bay and include a boat ride back to your starting point.
Meanwhile, other highly recommended scenic hikes include the Annaberg Plantation Path, Ram’s Head Trail, and Salt Pond Trail.
