Designer Ines Di Santo found inspiration for her Fall/Winter 2011-2012 Couture Bridal Collection from the city of Florence — both past and present.  Baroque beading evokes the cities grand architecture while mermaid silhouettes with dramatic bows were inspired by 21st century Florence.

The 24 gowns in the collection are a mix of voluminous ball gowns to sexy form-fitting silhouettes.  Take a look at these five breathtaking gowns:

1 – This fit-to-flare  taffeta gown has an Alencon lace overlay and from the front you can see a pink sash, which from behind features a large Obi bow.

2 – The “Como” wedding dress is a 2-piece dress with a silk shantung skirt with detachable train paired with a sheer coset with floral beading.

3 – I’m only showing this silk mikado gown from the front to show you the folding detail at the neckline, so you don’t get to see the extremely deep V in the back.  In the corner of the folded detail is a handmade flower.

4 – A little bling may be all your dress needs.  This fit-to-flare wedding dress features scattered crystals on tulle with heavier beading at the neckline and waist.

5 –  If you like my #4 pick but were looking for a ball gown silhouette then check out the “Venezia” wedding dress.  It’s a tulle ball gown with Swarovski crysals in a sunburst pattern on the skirt and covering the bodice.

Wedding Dress Shopping Tip:  Many designers will make similar versions of the same gown or may be able to make slight customizations for you.  All you have to do is ask!
