Initially launched to be the go-to line for destination wedding dresses, Blush has evolved to a collection of dresses for any wedding setting. This season’s mix of light and airy fabrics — lace, organza — can easily be seen on a beach or in a ballroom. Here are five details we loved:
Metallic Sheen: Two gowns, a fit-to-flare silhouette and ball gown, both featured a sheen lace which gave both dresses a nice shine as it moved down the runway and through the lights.
LBD: Assuming this fun and flirty little black dress is for a bridesmaid, we loved the mini, flirty skirt and the pairing of it with hot pink pumps. We recommend letting your girls have some fun and showing off their own personal style on your wedding day. With your final approval of course.
Veils: The Fleur cotton lace trim on this veil matches the bodice of the dress, but that’s not why it made our hit list. We like the idea of a trim on a veil and think this over-sized pattern is different than the usual delicate trim we see on the runway. A nice option for a beach wedding.
Over-sized Lace: And speaking of lace, a definite trend of the season, the Fleur cotton lace on this fit-to-flare gown is younger and more casual than Chantilly and Alencon, and a nice alternative to a bride looking for a youthful gown but with traditional elements.
3-D Flowers: Another runway trend, this sculpted fit-to-flare gown features an asymmetrical neckline with two large floral embellishments. Another detail to note is the draping on this gown, which will flatter a bride’s curves.
