Another crazy (and very early) morning at Filene’s Basement! The WeddingWire Team was out in full force today for Running of the Brides at the Mazza Gallerie location. We had a great time meeting the brides and their friends and families. I think the brides enjoyed meeting us too - and I’m sure that had nothing to do with the fact that we were giving away gift cards for FREE wedding dresses! Here are some photos from this morning…

If you are in the Washington, DC Metro area tomorrow (Friday) morning, join us for Filene’s Basement’s annual event, Running of the Brides! Thousands of brides are expected at the event and many will begin to line up this evening at the Mazza Gallerie location. Doors open at 8am, but we strongly suggest getting there early!

This morning we were at another Filenes Basement Running of the Brides event in Tyson’s Corner, Virginia and man was this one big. There was easily 700 people in line for this event with the first group getting there at 8:30pm last night! There were some bargains to be had also with one lucky bride snagging a $5000 dress for only $699!

This Friday is the first event in Boston held at the Hynes Convention Center and next Friday is the second at Union Square in New York City. This means one hour of shopping before the store opens to the public. You can choose from over 1300 designer dresses ranging in price from $249-$699…that’s it!
